BLOOMFIELD, Conn. (AP) _ Kaman Corp. (KAMN) on Thursday reported third-quarter earnings of $1.4 million.
On a per-share basis, the Bloomfield, Connecticut-based company said it had profit of 5 cents. Earnings, adjusted for asset impairment costs and non-recurring costs, came to 57 cents per share.
The results did not meet Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of three analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for earnings of 64 cents per share.
The industrial distribution aircraft components company posted revenue of $443.1 million in the period.
Kaman shares have increased 11 percent since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Thursday, shares hit $65.51, a rise of 17 percent in the last 12 months.
