PHILADELPHIA, Penn. — Keystone Technologies, a 75-year-old manufacturer of lighting components and fixtures, opened a three million cubic foot fulfillment center in Kansas City, Missouri this week. This expansion will dramatically improve delivery times and lower shipping costs for customers throughout the greater midwest service region.
“Over the last 12 months, we have substantially upgraded our ability to service customers across the US. With the 2019 opening of our state-of-the-art headquarters and fulfillment center in the Philadelphia area and the addition of this impressive Kansas City operation, we are optimally positioned to again raise the bar with our customers in delivering on our commitment of Light Made Easy,” notes Ira Greenberg, CEO.
This facility will serve as a primary logistics center for order fulfillment as well as a distribution hub to service Keystone’s regional stocking locations. Jake Alpert, COO, remarks: “This operation will bring a dramatic shift in how we service customers. We strategically selected Kansas City because of its prime ability to improve delivery times to over 40% of our customers. The positive impact is immediate.”
