FARMINGDALE, N.Y. — LaMar Lighting recently launched its completely redesigned website. Many hours went into developing, testing, and streamlining hundreds of pages of the website in order to make navigating the site, requesting product and components quotes, and finding resources or information much easier for visitors.
In addition to the new website, LaMar has redesigned its official logo to reflect the prominence of its LED product line.
LaMar’s product catalog of more than 150 American-made LED and fluorescent luminaires throughout 9 main categories have been reorganized by product type, rather than application, making it easier for any architect, lighting designer, facility manager, or electrician to find exactly the right product to suit their needs.
“Our website is our storefront, and the new look is cleaner, more inviting, easier to navigate, and much less cluttered than previously. We feel the new website will improve our customers’ search and buying experience tremendously, as well as making it easier to learn about our products, find product spec information and contact customer service. It’s been a tremendous effort, and we couldn’t’ be more proud of the new look and feel of our website,” said Jeff Goldstein, President and CEO of LaMar Lighting.
The new website has replaced the tiled, wall-of-thumbnails product selection menu with a much cleaner, modern layout, less crowded, with more white space. All products are now listed under a pull-down “Products” menu.
One of the largest changes on the new site is the prominence of the Videos section, linked front and center on the home page. These are a series of how-to videos aimed at installers, showing the ease with which LaMar’s products can be installed and repaired when need be.
The new site is also fully responsive, meaning visitors will have the same great experience whether they browse on a desktop computer, smartphone, tablet or any other device.
