Effective October 1st, Dr. Markus Emmert has been the Chief Financial Officer at the Garching-based lighting company LEDVANCE. He succeeds Jue Wang, who has taken over as Executive Senior Vice President. Emmert’s new role follows many years of experience in the lighting industry, having worked at LEDVANCE since its foundation in 2016 and at OSRAM. He formerly held the position of Finance Director Europe. In his new role, Emmert is now also a member of LEDVANCE’s Management Board and will report directly to the CEO, Qinghuan Sun.
In his newly assumed role, Emmert is responsible for overseeing financial operations globally. His focus is on the profitable growth of LEDVANCE´s B2B und B2C businesses with efficient LED lighting and renewable energy solutions: “My ambition is to provide transparency and pragmatic support to the business to promote innovation, profitable growth and sustained financial stability.”
Having served at LEDVANCE since 2016, Emmert significantly contributed to the company’s financial success, demonstrating his exceptional financial acumen, strategic vision, and commitment to excellence. As LEDVANCE continues to expand its global presence and drive innovation in energy-efficient lighting solutions, Emmert will play a pivotal role in shaping the financial strategy and ensuring sustainable growth for the company.
