Rob Fisher has been named vice president of marketing at Madison Electric Products.
Fisher previously served as director of marketing and, according to the company, he “played an integral role in helping Madison break ground in the electrical industry by crowdsourcing product development through the Sparks Innovation Center and leveraging social media to connect with a broader audience.”
Fisher joined Madison Electric Products in 2009. Before joining the company, Fisher worked as creative director and director of marketing for TCP, Inc.—a position he held for four years. Prior to his time with TCP, Fisher spent nine years with Manco, Inc. He started with Manco as a customer service representative and then worked in graphic design for the company.
“Rob’s strategic, creative approach to marketing has helped reposition Madison as an industry innovator,” explained Brad Wiandt, president of Madison Electric Products. “Even more importantly, Rob’s ability to use online and traditional marketing strategies has had a direct, positive impact on Madison’s sales.”
Under Fisher’s direction, Madison Electric Products has received numerous marketing and social media awards. In 2011, tED magazine awarded Madison with the “Best of the Best Overall” supplier award.
