NAED and tED magazine are very sad to announce the passing of Michael Rabe, of Kendall Electric. He served on the NAED South Central Committee and attended many NAED events. tED magazine extends our condolences to Michael’s family. Please find his obituary below.
Michael Fredric Rabe
Michael Fredric Rabe, age 59, of Grand Rapids, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Saturday, October 18, 2014. He was preceded in death by mother, Betty Anway and brother-in-law, Dick Mulholland. He will be lovingly remembered by his daughters, Kelly (Matt) Schmuker and Katie Rabe; grandchildren, Jackson, Brooklynn and Miles Schmuker; father, Fredric Rabe; Brother Pat (Deb) Rabe; sisters, Lori Mulholland, Tammy (Greg) Russo, and Cheri (Kevin) Harrigan; and many nephews, nieces and friends. Mike was a dedicated father and loving grandfather. He worked hard, played hard and loved well.
The funeral service will be held 11:30 am Thursday at the Resurrection Life Church (Rez Center) 5100 Ivanrest Ave SW, with Pastor Curt Anes and Pastor Matt Schmuker officiating.
The family will meet with relatives and friends on Wednesday from 1-3 and 6-8 pm at the Cook Funeral Home, 4235 Prairie SW, Grandville, MI (West Building) and one hour prior to the service at the church. Memorial contributions may be made to American Cancer Society.
