HAMPSHIRE, Ill. — Minerallac Company donated 11 pallets of products worth $25,000 to Habitat for Humanity in December 2015. These items included screwdrivers, nut drivers, and safety gloves among other items.
“Habitat for Humanity is a wonderful organization and we are pleased to be able to contribute to such a worthy cause year after year,” says Jim Hlavacek, President, Minerallac Company.
Over the past 5 years, Minerallac Company has supported the efforts of Habitat for Humanity by donating a portion of material to their cause. These materials provide necessary tools and hardware needed by Habitat for Humanity volunteers to build and repair shelters for families in substandard housing and those experiencing homelessness.
Minerallac donated 11 pallets of products to Habitat for Humanity, totaling $25,000 worth of merchandise.
2015 was the fifth year Minerallac partnered with Habitat for Humanity.
