As the extent of the tornado devastation becomes clear in Oklahoma, individuals and companies are anxious to do whatever they can to help. While monetary donations are certainly needed, companies like Affiliated Distributors Supplier Molex Incorporated are finding innovative ways to support the community during the recovery and rebuilding effort.
“While there is no way to truly compensate for the tremendous personal loss from the tornadoes, everyone at Molex is committed to supporting the relief effort and wishes the community the very best at this most difficult time,” stated Tom Orton Distribution Corporate Account Manager with Molex.
Molex employees identified which products would provide much needed assistance to rescue workers in the city of Moore and created the “Oklahoma Relief Package,” containing Woodhead® products that are designed for harsh environments. In addition, Molex compiled a list of inventory items that are available immediately from stock, in case additional order needs are required.
Molex worked with a few AD independent electrical distributors, including dealers electrical supply and Hunzicker Brothers, to get the supplies where they needed to go.
