Many of the National Electrical Contractors Association members and their employees have been working tirelessly to bring power back to flooded areas in the southeast as part of the ongoing disaster relief efforts that started after Hurricane Dorian began to make landfall earlier this week. But some of the companies doing that vital work have been hurt as well.
The ongoing devastation has led NECA and ELECTRI International to issue a call for donations to replenish a relief fund and reach out to contractors who have been affected. The NECA Disaster Relief Fund was established in 2005 after the destruction caused by Hurricane Katrina. Since then, the fund has been used to help NECA members rebuild as they help rebuild their communities.
