Needham Electric Supply today announced that it has acquired the assets of GTM Electric Supply. GTM Electric is located in St. Albans, Vt. and will operate as Needham Electric Supply.
Founded by Mark Bourbeau in 1991, GTM Electric Supply is a privately held electrical distributor serving primarily residential and commercial contractors in Northern Vermont. Bourbeau has been named branch manager and will continue to manage the day-to-day sales and operations.
“We are pleased to welcome GTM Electric Supply to the Needham Electric team and look forward to working with Mark to expand and strengthen our presence in Vermont,” said Gregory Wilson, president of Needham Electric Supply. “The merger will benefit GTM customers by providing greater access to the resources of a larger organization, including $12 million in inventory in our regional distribution center, a fleet of 10 trucks, and 24-hour emergency services.”
Needham Electric Supply is a full-service electrical distributor serving contractors, commercial and industrial companies, institutional accounts, and national retail accounts. The company is headquartered in Canton, Mass. and has 26 branch locations throughout Massachusetts, New Hampshire and Vermont and national retail account offices across the country.
Earlier this week, Needham Electric announced the opening of its Hudson, N.H. location —the company’s ninth in the state.
