LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Effective October 1, 2018, Republic Conduit became Nucor Tubular Products. Republic Conduit manufactures steel electrical conduit for the U.S. construction market. The Republic Conduit trademark has been a household name for decades. The name will remain part of the overall brand, Nucor Tubular Products – Republic Conduit, Inc. or NTP-RC, for a period of one year before fully transitioning to Nucor Tubular Products in the fourth quarter of 2019.
Nucor Tubular Products — Republic Conduit, Inc. will continue to manufacture high quality, domestic steel conduit for the U.S. and Canadian electrical industry with trusted brand features such as Inch-Mark®, Guide-Line®, Silverslick®, and diamond-knurled I.D. on ½”, ¾”, and 1” Electrunite® EMT. NTP-RC is also one of the nation’s few domestic producers of Electrical Rigid Metal Conduit – Steel with the Galvite® brand.

Republic Conduit joined Nucor in January 2017. Together with recent acquisitions Southland Tube and Independence Tube Corporation, Nucor formed the Nucor Tubular Products Group as part of the company’s long-term strategy for profitable growth.
