Orbit Industries CEO David Nikayin has announced the appointment of Conor McElyea as a new sales representative for northern California. McElyea will oversee Orbit sales activities along the Central Coast from San Francisco to Monterey.
He will liaison with electrical distributors and contractors and lead training programs on new Orbit products, including the company’s rapidly-growing line of pre-fab devices.
“We are very pleased to welcome Conor to Orbit,” said Nikayin.
“As a young professional, he brings a new level of enthusiasm and energy to the company and his sales skills will be an asset as we develop new markets.” McElyea is a business marketing graduate of the University of San Francisco, which he attended on a Division 1 golf scholarship. He represented the college in national tournaments and was named to the USF Academic All-American Team. Upon graduation he also played the professional golf circuit.
Prior to joining Orbit, McElyea worked as a real estate appraiser in the Monterey area.
