OSHA Offers Resources for Electrical Workers During Harvey Relief Efforts

The following is a message from the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA):

Texas needs all the help it can get right now, and we are grateful for the men and women who are courageously mobilizing to help victims recover from this catastrophic storm.

Electrical work can be hazardous under normal conditions, yet the work you are preparing to do will likely present even more dangers. While we want recovery operations to begin as quickly as possible, we want you to be safe while you are helping others. OSHA has resources to help employers keep their workers safe when hurricanes and floods strike, and during cleanup and recovery operations.

We are here to help. Our toll free number (800-321-6742) is available 24 hours a day.
