Precision Paragon [P2] named Russell Price as its new director of engineering. Price will have responsibility for the product, application, and production engineering team at its southern California headquarters, as well as its manufacturing plants in Florida and Wisconsin.
Joe Martin, VP/GM said, “LED light sources and advanced lighting controls are evolving at unprecedented speeds. As energy efficient lighting specialists, our customers expect us to keep them current. Russell joins us with the mission of exceeding that expectation, further accelerating [P2]’s product development cycle, and the continual integration of cutting edge technologies into our product lines.”
For more than 20 years, Price has worked in lighting product design and development, helping companies optimize resources and create products that fulfill customer needs.
While Price has product concepts that deploy fluorescent, induction, and LED light sources, he is especially interested in adding to [P2]’s LED product line.
“Obviously the LED market transformation is underway. When you are looking at lighting retrofit products for commercial and industrial settings, it is clear that certain applications will proliferate based on return on investment.” Price added, “I feel a real responsibility to develop products that produce not just a great return on investment, but an excellent illuminated environment as well.”
Martin and the rest of the [P2] management team are excited about Price’s experience and drive because of what it means for customer service.
