A new 77,000 square-foot facility in San Jose, Calif. will serve as the headquarters for Relectric Supply, which describes itself as being in “the electrical distribution and control e-marketplace.”
Established in 2003, Relectric is employee-owned. The new facility holds more than three times as much inventory as the company’s previous headquarters, which totaled 26,000 square-feet.
The new facility includes a will-call center, “ample space for parking,” and an expansion of the company’s Fab/Tech operation “for low/medium-voltage air breakers and switchgear,” according to a company news release.
In a report from the Silicon Valley/San Jose Business Journal, the company told of its plans to expand from 65 workers to “up to 150 new employees,” a move the new facility makes possible.
Anthony Robinson, CEO, said, “In the last three months, we’ve brought in a number of sales people, product/QC technicians, a marketing and public relations team, a CFO, a CIO and a new purchasing agent.”
Robinson said his company “has grown on average about 25% to 30& above the rest of the field.”
