Chris Hartmann, EVP & CEO of Rexel Holdings USA and Rexel Executive Committee member, has announced his intention to leave Rexel towards the end of the year. Hartmann remains in charge and committed to ensuring business continuity and a smooth transition until a successor is in place. Hartmann’s decision to leave the company after more than 6 years with Rexel is a personal one and his contribution during his tenure is widely recognized.
The process of recruiting his successor is underway, with oversight by Rexel’s Nomination Committee as is required for appointments at Executive Committee level. Rudy Provoost, CEO of the Management Board of Rexel, said: “I want to thank Hartmann for his contribution during his tenure at the helm of Rexel’s U.S. operations and wish him every success for the future. I look forward to working with a strong successor who will help us build on our solid position and further develop the U.S. business.”
