Patrick Danforth, Industrial Project House Manager, Gulf Region of Rexel USA, died unexpectedly on April 16, 2022 at the age of 31 in Pearland, Texas.

Patrick was born in Lewiston, Maine on April 8, 1991, the youngest son of Danny W. Danforth and Robin L. Boynton Danforth.
Patrick was a fighter from birth, his first 2 weeks of life in a NICU. Over the years he battled other health issues. At the age of 18, he had “Don’t Ever Give Up” with a 4 leafed clover tattooed on his shoulder. He was a fighter!
Patrick was educated in the Mt Vernon and Maranacook school systems where he played football, was on the math team, and even played the role of Beast in his grade school musical. Patrick graduated from Husson University in Bangor, Maine with a degree in Business Management and a minor in Hospitality.
Patrick was a hard worker. Summer jobs at Camp Laurel and Pine State Trading taught him customer service skills which he carried with him to Texas. After graduation, he worked in Texas for Wholesale Electric, Graybar, and currently for Rexel USA as an Industrial Project House Manager, Gulf Region.
In Patrick’s short time in Texas, he made many friends and connections. Patrick was ALWAYS putting others first and he will be greatly missed by hundreds of coworkers and friends. Patrick was a gentleman and a man of his word!
While at Wholesale, Patrick met the love of his life, Shana Nicole Gray. They shared a brief but beautiful life together with their three dogs, Zeus, Athena, and Boone. They were married in September of 2020 during covid and married again on May 29, 2021 in a breathtaking ceremony. The entire Gray family welcomed Patrick into their hearts.
Patrick was a true outdoorsman. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, jet skis, swimming, and was a certified scuba diver.
Patrick was predeceased by his father Danny in 2019.
Patrick is survived by his wife Shana of Pearland, Texas, his mother, Robin, of Sidney, Maine, brother Matthew and wife Sarah of Elm Grove, Wisconsin, nieces Claire and Charlotte and grandmother, Shirley Boynton of Oakland, Maine, as well as his Texas family; In-laws Gus & Jennifer Gray, sister-in-law Britney Gray, and “Mimi”. Patrick in also survived by many, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
A Celebration of Life was held on April 21st. Memorial donations may be made to a charity set up in Patrick’s name at the Make-a-Wish Foundation – Maine (66 Mussey Road, Scarborough, ME 04074).
