SCHAUMBURG, Ill. — Rittal Corporation has won the GACC Award for Excellence in Innovation from the German American Chamber of Commerce Midwest. The award was presented at the GACC Awards Gala in Chicago, Illinois, on October 9, 2015.
The company received the GACC’s Midwest Innovator Award, and was awarded for its groundbreaking Blue e+ air conditioning system for enclosures. Rittal is one of only three companies across America to win the award in 2015.
Rittal’s international headquarters are located in Germany, with North American operations located in suburban Chicago.
“The Midwest Innovator Award serves as a platform to showcase the many ways German-American businesses contribute to the economies on both sides of the Atlantic,” explained Jasmin Welter, Manager of PR and Communications for the German American Chamber of Commerce Midwest division. “We want to highlight the innovation and investment these companies create for both countries, and strengthen the network of multinational companies to create more business opportunities for each other.”

“It is a tremendous mark of achievement for Rittal technology to be recognized for innovation and engineering performance,” said Baumann. “Our company is known for being an industry leader in both market share as well as advanced capabilities in our industry, and it is very rewarding to our entire team for our work to be honored in the company of so many other well-deserving innovations.”
