Schneider Electric to Receive Salzberg Industry Medallion

BOSTON — Schneider Electric, a global energy technology leader, announced it will be recognized with the Salzberg Industry Medallion at the 76th Annual Harry E. Salzberg Memorial Lecture Program, at Syracuse University’s Whitman School of Management.

The Salzberg Program, established in 1949, is one of the most prestigious honors in transportation and supply chain management, celebrating innovation and excellence in the field.

Accepting the award on behalf of Schneider Electric is Cyre Denny, a Syracuse alum and Strategic Account Executive for Schneider Electric.  Also representing Schneider Electric is Konnor Smith, Talent Manager for Schneider’s North America Global Supply Chain.

Schneider Electric continues to lead the industry in supply chain excellence, recently securing the #1 position in Gartner’s Top 25 Supply Chains for the third year in a row. The company is currently driving its Impact Supply Chain initiative (2024–2026)—a comprehensive transformation strategy built around four core pillars:

  • People: Fostering a culture of innovation by empowering skilled, entrepreneurial teams.
  • Planet: Committing to sustainability through a responsible, net-zero-ready supply chain.
  • Customers: Delivering trusted, transparent, and tailored solutions to meet evolving needs.
  • Performance: Streamlining operations with advanced technologies and regionally integrated ecosystems.

Schneider Electric has continually transformed its supply chain for the last 20 years, each transformation building on the previous one. It is well-positioned for change in the global landscape, shifting towards regional sourcing and manufacturing, supported by global design standards, dual-region redundancy, agile teams, and a streamlined network. These efforts position the company to thrive amid shifts in the global supply chain.
