CARROLLTON, Ga. – Southwire recently announced that it has integrated its High Voltage business into the Southwire Services team. To support this transition, Denise Voss will join Southwire as Senior Vice President of Services and High Voltage, reporting to Rohan Kelkar, Executive Vice President, Utility and Industrial Group.
“Voss will play an instrumental role in combining these businesses,” said Kelkar. “With hands-on experience early in her career as a field engineer to running a large operations portfolio of service and contractual agreements with several utilities and O&G customers as part of GE Power, her extensive experience in field services and the broader transmission and distribution space gives her a unique vantage point.”
Voss recently served as the Head of Commercial Operations of the Americas with Danish Wind Power Academy, where she led commercial strategy for wind turbine assets across the Americas, overseeing operations, business development and P&L. She spent her time building partnerships with utilities, asset owners, and service providers while expanding offerings in renewable technologies and standardizing long-term service programs.
Voss graduated from the University of Wisconsin in Madison, Wis., with a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering in 1993. She lives in Atlanta with her husband and her three children.
