Springfield Electric announces promotions

Nikki Baker, has been promoted to the position of vice president of operation and professional development at Springfield Electric Supply Company.

Baker will oversee all aspects of company operations, human resources and training. She has been with Springfield Electric for six years.

Springfield Electric has also promoted Willie Collier to the position of branch manager at the company’s East Peoria location.

Collier has been with Springfield Electric for 13 years. Prior to his promotion, he served as the corporate operations manager. Collier has been on special assignment in Quincy, Ill. since 2011—working to manage and integrate the company’s newest branches in Quincy, Hannibal, Mo. and Keokuk, Iowa.

Harry Honings, regional manager at Springfield Electric, will continue his current role, but will no longer work in a dual capacity as the East Peoria branch manager. Honings oversees the central region, which has been expanded to include branches in Quincy, Keokuk, Hannibal, East Peoria, Davenport, Iowa and Moline, Ill.

Honings has been in the electrical industry for 30 years—17 of those with Springfield Electric.
