What could be easier than installing conduit fittings? Just tighten a locknut and secure a couple of set screws to an EMT strap with a straight-blade screwdriver or use a push-on EMT connector. Simple, right? Hardly. Professional electricians will admit that the lack of apparent technology or sophisticated equipment gives the impression that conduit fittings are uncomplicated and the task of installing them requires little skill or knowledge.
