Summit Electric Supply Moves Dallas Service Center

Summit Electric Supply Moves Dallas Service Center

IRVING, Tx. – Summit Electric Supply has moved its Dallas, Texas service center into a massive distribution warehouse in Irving that was previously occupied by Nabisco Grocery.

The 119,000-square-foot facility on W. Royal Lane has 110,000 square feet of warehouse space, enabling Summit to offer expanded inventory availability to diverse customer segments and strengthen the company’s market presence. The location also has a 22,000-square-foot building expansion and sizable outdoor storage.

With convenient accessibility from several major roadways, the new Irving service center will help position Summit for future growth in the region and allow associates to provide greater customer and project support from a centralized location. The facility includes a large counter sales floor, flexible office space, and immense warehouse capacity nearly three times the size of Summit’s former Dallas service center.

Summit’s design plan for the facility included environmental upgrades for increased energy efficiency and sustainability. New LED lighting and high-efficiency HVAC systems were installed throughout, and Summit used low volatile organic compound (VOC) paints, adhesives, and finishes as well as GreenCircle Certified carpets and recyclable materials to help reduce the company’s environmental impact.

The address for the new Irving service center is 3551 W. Royal Lane, Irving, Texas 75063. Phone and fax numbers remain the same.
