ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — Patrick Davis, President and CEO of Summit Electric Supply announced that Robert Case has joined the company as its Senior Vice President of Sales, effective June 1. Case will have full responsibility for Summit’s domestic and international sales teams, including EP&C and Strategic Accounts, as well as both the Marketing and Supplier Relations departments.
“I could not be more excited to welcome Robert to the Summit team,” remarked Davis. “Having someone with Robert’s experience join our organization is a huge asset. His steady hand, character, and deep industry knowledge will help Summit grow now and far into the future.”
Case joins Summit after spending the previous four years as Senior Vice President and General Manager for Distribution International (DI), one of the largest North American distributors in the commercial and industrial insulation markets. In that capacity, he led acquisition, integration, and business transformation efforts. Prior to DI, Case spent 25 years in electrical distribution, including 15 years at Rexel, where he most recently served as Vice President of their U.S. Oil & Gas business. Other roles within Rexel included Vice President of the Central Region, Gulf Coast Region Manager, and Director of Sales and Marketing for the Central Region. Case also served as the Vice President of Field Operations at Cummings Utility Supply, and in other senior-level sales management positions at Source Alliance and All-Phase Electric Supply.
Case attended Clemson University and as well as advanced business leadership programs at the Fisher College of Business at The Ohio State University and the IMD Business School for Management and Leadership in Lausanne, Switzerland.
