ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. – Summit Electric Supply has promoted Randy Hudson to sales manager of its Irving, Texas location.
Hudson began his electrical distribution career in 2006 as a warehouse driver for an electrical supplier in Foley, Alabama. He advanced through numerous roles of increasing responsibility before specializing in industrial sales and business development management.
Hudson joined Summit in November 2015 as Industrial Business Development Manager, where he helped to form and build Summit’s industrial team. He is a National Association of Electrical Distributors (NAED) Certified Electrical Professional (CEP).
“Randy has done a terrific job developing and expanding our industrial business and we're excited to advance him into a leadership role for our Irving sales team,” said Todd Bockenfeld, Summit Vice President, North Texas district. “Randy has a diverse background including running a large projects group, which will be a tremendous asset for him as he expands his role into the commercial construction segment.”
In his new leadership position, Hudson says he will focus on growth in industrial and commercial markets at the Irving service center. “I am appreciative of this opportunity and look forward to leading the Irving service center to continuous growth and sustainable development,” he said.
