HARRISBURG, Pa. – Schaedler Yesco Distribution, Inc. is proud to announce that is has been ranked 29th on the Central Penn Business Journal’s annual list of the Top 50 Fastest Growing Companies in Central Pennsylvania. This is the 10th time that Schaedler Yesco has achieved this milestone.
“Over the last two years, we have focused on market disruption, competitive pressures, and the need for innovative transformation. Amongst all this, we find ourselves in a challenging and unique situation as we face new standards and new rules,” explained company president, Farrah Mittel. “That said, our company goals have not changed. We continue to listen to the needs of our customers, maintain focus, and grow — despite our environment.”
The company just finalized the purchase of two locations in Pittston, Pa. and Johnson City, N.Y. With this purchase, Schaedler Yesco now operates 22 locations in Pennsylvania and 1 in New York.
To be eligible, companies were required to show revenue of at least $500,000 in each of the previous three fiscal years, as well as revenue growth in 2019. For-profit entities headquartered in Adams, Cumberland, Dauphin, Franklin, Lancaster, Lebanon, Perry or York County were eligible for nomination.
The presenting sponsor of the program, Baker Tilly, calculated the nominations and then ranked the companies according to revenue growth over the three-year period. Both dollar and percentage increases were taken into consideration—this ranking formula led to the list of 50 winners.
Schaedler Yesco and the other 49 winners were honored at a virtual awards event on Wednesday, September 9, 2020, where the ranks were revealed.
