Scott Teerlinck has been named president of Werner Electric Supply of Wisconsin. Teerlinck brings 18 years of industry experience to the company.
“Scott will bring valuable experience to Werner Electric in the areas of business management, active involvement in the definition and execution of our long-term growth strategies, and continuing our efforts to develop strong ties with our vendors,” said CEO Lynn MacDonald.
Teerlinck reports to MacDonald and runs the day to day executive management of Werner Electric and pertinent entities.
Teerlinck came from Rockwell Automation where he held sales and management positions. Most recently, he was based in Singapore as Rockwell Automation’s regional director for Rockwell’s Southeast Asia region.
MacDonald said, “I believe in Scott’s decision-making and his integrity – both of which are closely aligned with the culture of Werner Electric. This alignment will help to ensure the long-term continuity of Werner Electric in a manner consistent with our proud legacy.”
“In addition to his management skills, Scott’s international sales experience will benefit our interests and investments in EDGE.”
EDGE (Electrical Distribution Global Enterprise) is a partnership between distributors to build a network of distribution and automation company partners outside of North America. Werner Electric is one of the eleven founding members of the new venture.
Teerlinck joined Rockwell Automation/Allen-Bradley in 1994 as a sales trainee, after which he was assigned to the Appleton, Wis. sales office where he first worked with Werner Electric.
Since that time, he has held positions of increasing responsibility within Rockwell Automation, including global accounts management, sales management, director of marketing, and global leadership of Rockwell’s Plant Services business.
Werner Electric Supply has 11 locations throughout Wisconsin and Upper Michigan.
