MOKENA, Ill. — Revere Electric Supply Company, a fourth-generation, family-owned, electrical distributor headquartered in Mokena, Illinois, has announced that Tom Frary, President,
will retire from the organization effective December 31st, 2017. Although Frary will be retiring from the
day-to-day operations of the company, he has accepted a position as a member of Revere Electric’s
Board of Directors. In this new position, Frary will continue to share his expertise and give valuable
insight towards the strategic direction of the company.
Over the last forty years, Frary has been a predominant figure in the electrical industry. His
electrical career began as a National Sales Manager at McGill Electrical Products. After 19
years at McGill, he held the position of Vice President of Sales at both EGS Electrical Group and
Appleton Electric before he decided to change directions and became the Director of the Midwest
Region for WESCO. In 2008, Paul McCool, CEO of Revere Electric Supply, contacted Frary and
convinced him to join Revere Electric Supply, assuming the role of President of the company in 2010.
In his tenure as President, Frary has played a vital role in the company’s success, expanding its
geographic and served markets. Over the course of the last nine years, Frary’s leadership and
guidance has helped to build Revere into an industry-leading company, covering both the industrial and
construction markets.
“A good leader leaves a foundation that continues to prosper well into the future. Tom’s foundation
consists of a team of industry leading professionals, a strong strategic path, and a sense of pride in our
accomplishments,” stated a company spokesperson. “We thank Tom whole heartedly for his commitment and dedication. We wish him all the best and look
forward to his contributions as a board member for years to come.”
