ST. LOUIS, Mo. — Graybar today announced the opening of a new service center in Denver, Colorado.
The new, 240,000 square foot distribution facility is located at 480 E. 55th Ave. in Denver, Colorado. The new service center will replace the Aurora warehouse, which closed on July 13. The current Denver location, located at 1375 W. 47th Ave., will remain open as a full-service counter, will call, staging and storage facility.
The new facility will provide access to approximately $15 million in inventory and approximately 12,500 SKUs, as well as product staging, kitting, will call, jobsite boxes and carts, and wire and cable management services. The facility represents Graybar’s commitment to sustainability and features LED lighting with daylight harvesting, high-efficiency HVLS fans and automatic/low flow fixtures to reduce water consumption.
“This new service center will help us better serve our electrical, communications and industrial customers in Colorado, Wyoming, Utah, New Mexico and Montana,” said Dennis DeSousa, Graybar Regional Vice President – Western Region. “The service center is in a prime central location, and the additional space will allow us to offer enhanced logistics capabilities and increased local inventory.”
A grand opening event is scheduled to take place in October.
