Schaedler Yesco Announces Restructure
HARRISBURG, PA – Fourth-generation, family-owned Schaedler Yesco Distribution, Inc. has announced a transition, a new structure, and new roles to better serve customers.
Greg Schaedler has been named the company’s CEO. Greg is preceded by his father, Jim Schaedler, who, after 48 years, has transitioned from the role but remains active as the company’s Chairman of the Board. Greg, who most recently served as Vice President, has worked closely with Jim over the past 20 years and will continue to work with the Executive Management Team in guiding Schaedler Yesco Distribution’s growth.
Having been named Top 50 fastest growing companies in PA for the last three years and recently acquiring two new locations in 2020, Schaedler Yesco continues to focus on growth and customer expectations.
“We are keenly aware that the needs of the market have been changing for some time. Even before disruption from Covid-19, how and where we conducted business was changing,” explained company president Farrah Mittel. “Part of our transformation strategy has been to truly understand our customers’ needs and how we can best serve them; to be customer-centric in all we do.”
As a result, the company announced several internal promotions and new roles as part of the restructure.
The company’s branch business will be the joint responsibility of Territory Managers, and Customer Experience Managers. Together, they will actively listen and work with customers to learn more about their processes, challenges, and journey. Matt Healy, Aaron Hash, Todd Smith, Adam Moyer, and Dave Glowatch are the company’s Customer Experience Managers working with Territory Managers Allen Toth, Gary Meanor, Jim Semyon, Greg Shick, and Josh Holly.
With the acquisition of the company’s Pittston, PA, and Johnson City, NY locations, their footprint as an authorized distributor and service provider for Rockwell Automation grew. The team, led by John Rambler, is now one comprehensive group allowing for consistency, maximized sales efforts, and expansion of services.
Steve Shepps now oversees the company’s construction business as the VP of Construction. He is responsible for vendor management as well as the sales and specialist teams for lighting and gear. Assisting him is Chad O’Neill as Constructions Quotations Manager and Chris Levan as Energy Solutions Manager.
Schaedler Yesco also offers several robust Inventory Management Solutions. The team focused on Jobsite solutions includes Jim Augenbaugh, Business Development Specialist, Mike Gasper, SIMS Operations Manager, and Steve Eyler, SIMS Administration Manager. A complementary team of focused specialists handles Storeroom solutions.
Overseeing operational process improvement and service development, Cliff Hoff is now Operations Services Lead.
