On Wednesday, March 25, Ed Orlet, NAED’s Senior Vice-President of Government Affairs and Strategic Projects, hosted a public policy discussion to help NAED members understand the events related to COVID-19. Many states are ordering non-essential businesses to close to stop the spread of the coronavirus. But many states have included exemptions for construction workers allowing them to continue working.
The discussion included some insight into the $2 trillion stimulus package approved by the Senate.
Joining Orlet on the discussion were Tom Naber, NAED President and CEO, Ian Reynolds, NAED General Counsel, Alex Ayers and Palmer Schoening of the Family Business Coalition, and Ryan Ellis, a guest columnist for the Washington Examiner and Tax Advisor for the Family Business Coalition.
