MINNEAPOLIS, Minnesota — Electrical distributor and services provider Viking Electric has announced that Scott Miesen, Vice President of Marketing & Materials, will retire from Viking Electric at the end of the year.
Scott began his career in the electrical industry with General Electric, and held sales leadership positions at Philips Advance and an electrical distributor competitor. In 2006, Scott joined Viking Electric as the Contractor Sales Manager for the Twin Cities market. In 2010, he was promoted to VP Sales – Eastern Region and relocated to Milwaukee, Wis. In January 2017, Scott moved back to Minneapolis when he was named VP of Marketing & Materials.
“I want to thank Scott for his unwavering commitment to Viking Electric, our customers, and our associates,” Viking Electric President Stacy Stanslaski said. “As VP of Marketing & Materials, Scott built and led a strong, talented team through the extraordinary supply chain challenges of late. His leadership has had a major impact on the growth and success of our organization, and we wish him well in retirement,” Stanslaski said.
In retirement, Scott looks forward to hunting, golfing, more health club visits, and more family time.
