Galvan Industries, Inc. announced Roger Montambo has stepped down from his post as Vice President of Electrical Products after 17 years of service.
Roger brought about many changes at Galvan, establishing the company as an industry leader in grounding and connectoring products.
One major accomplishment was spearheading the successful drive for UL listing of galvanized ground rods. He also made sure that every Galvan ground rod that could be listed was listed. “Always take the high road,” was, and is, his mantra where product quality and safety are concerned.
Jim Lund, who joined the company in 2002, will assume Roger’s role in leading the electrical products team. Jeff Walker and Wesley Fritsche will continue as National Sales Managers. Michele Warren and Hope Corley will continue as inside sales and customer service support.
Roger will be missed for his hard work, his wisdom and his sense of humor. We wish him all the best.

Effective April 1, 2015, I will transition into semi-retirement after completing over 17 years of employment with Galvan Industries –Electrical Products Group. I am thankful for the experiences and relationships that I have developed over the years. However, I am looking forward to a new and different pace of life with my family.
Over the years, we have made great strides in Galvan name recognition, product excellence, production growth while offering technical sales (etc) throughout the electrical industry. Galvan is well-positioned and staffed to continue this progress while improving upon this solid foundation.
Jim Lund will be taking over the reins as my replacement with Jeff Walker and Wesley Fritsche as sales managers. My assistant for the last 17-years, Michele Warren, will remain along with Hope Corley serving as inside sales and customer service support offering the industries best customer service.
My wife, Sharon, and I look forward to traveling, spending more time with family, and having opportunities to enjoy our many hobbies. We are blessed with great health and look forward to enjoying the next phase of our lives.
I would like to thank each of you personally but that is simply not possible. It has been a privilege to work with our sales representative firms and electrical wholesalers as well as the entire Galvan staff. I am honored to have worked alongside you as colleagues that have assisted me along the way. I am proud of the relationships we have built that will allow Galvan Electrical and its staff to succeed well into the future.
