TINTON FALLS, N.J. — Warshauer Electric Supply, a New Jersey based electrical wholesaler, held its 8th annual blood drive with Central Jersey Blood Center. The event was hosted in the front parking lot of its Tinton Falls Headquarters and Lighting Design Center.
Warshauer invited customers, employees and their families to come out to participate. Together, they made this year’s blood drive the most successful to date. Warshauer exceeded its goal with 31 donors, which included employees and customers. All donors were entered into raffles for items such as a Bose Speaker, grill, movie tickets, gift cards and more.
“We host our blood drive each year during the summer because it is very important to help our local hospitals during this time when we have numerous guests visiting the shore areas,” says Pam Merklinger, Event Organizer and Lighting Designer at The Lighting Design Center at Warshauer Electric. “Each year we reach out to our employees, family members, customers and vendors to come out and support our cause. And each year the response is greater and greater, making this year’s blood drive the most successful to date.”
