WattStopper has announced two recent promotions.
Brent Streck has been named north central regional vice
president and Jeff Payne has been named south central regional vice president.
Both Streck and Payne are two-time Circle of Excellence award winners—an award
for outstanding sales achievements—and both previously served as district sales
managers.
“Brent and Jeff have proven track records at WattStopper
serving customers and driving business results and we’re eager to see them take
their ideas and vision to these new positions,” said WattStopper Vice President
of Sales and Marketing Jim Young.
Streck has been with WattStopper since 2008 and has nearly
20 years of experience in lighting controls. Prior to joining WattStopper, he
worked as an electrician and as an electrical distributor and manufacturer’s representative.
The north central region Streck will cover includes the
Plains States, Midwest, Great Lakes and Ohio River Valley districts. “I am
honored to have been given the opportunity to lead my already successful
colleagues in the region, and look forward to helping them introduce
WattStopper’s innovative control solutions to an even larger audience,” Streck
said.
Payne joined the Legrand group of companies in 2005 when he
began working with Vantage Controls. He moved to WattStopper in 2007. Payne has
10 years of experience in lighting controls. He began his career in a sales
position with an electrical contractor.
The south central region Payne will cover includes the Four
Corners, South Central and Mid Central districts. “I look forward to expanding
the brand into new channels and markets. Through education we can help
customers become more comfortable using lighting controls. And they can rely on
WattStopper support throughout their projects,” Payne said.
WattStopper is a Legrand group brand
and a manufacturer of energy efficient lighting controls for commercial and
residential use.
