DENVER — On Thursday, September 11th, over 200 members of IECRM (www.iecrm.org) will gather at Fox Hollow Golf Course in Lakewood to celebrate and support United States Veterans during the 2014 Annual IECRM Golf Tournament. The event is supported by Premier Sponsor, Thomas & Betts, with additional support from a number IECRM member companies.

One hundred percent of the proceeds at two dedicated fundraising holes will be donated to the IECRM Veteran’s Committee. The funds will be used for community outreach and career transition efforts for US Veterans. “We believe in providing a stable, supportive, and secure career path for Veterans looking to re-enter the workforce,” said Kristin Kim Haynes, IECRM COO. “Veterans have the skills and the work ethic our construction industry values, so we have become a strong community leader and resource for these individuals to get connected with available jobs in the electrical field, engineering, sales, and managerial career paths.”

IECRM is a career transition resource for Veterans in the Rocky Mountain region, providing a Four-Year Electrical Apprenticeship Program, employment assistance, tuition assistance, and continuing education. IECRM accepts GI Bill benefits for all educational programs, and gives eligible Veterans priority for tuition assistance when all other requirements are met.

Additional support for the 2014 Annual IECRM Golf Tournament comes from: All Copy Products, ADK Electric Corporation, Allcable, Inc., Bauerle and Company, P.C., Colorado Business Bank, Eaton Electrical, Graybar Electric Company, Inc., Legrand, Milwaukee Electric Tool, Network Insurance Services, and QED Supply.
