2025 30 Under 35 Profile: Mitchell Stewart

Mitchell Stewart, 32
Vice President of Sales & Marketing
Minerallac Company

Mitchell joined Minerallac—and the industry—in 2014. “I started as a business development merchandiser,” he recalled. “I was promoted to business development manager in 2017, to national business development manager in 2023, and to vice president of business development in July of 2024.” Mitchell was promoted to his current role, vice president of sales & marketing, in October 2025.

“I arrived in the industry through family connection,” Mitchell recalled. “I loved the idea of how personal relationships matter in this industry, traveling, and seeing different parts of the country. What continues to appeal to me in this industry is the people, creating lifelong relationships, and the problem-solving aspect of the business.”

Asked about a challenge the industry is currently facing, Mitchell pointed to the workforce shortage. “We must continue to bring in top talent of the next generations to continue moving this industry forwards for many years to come,” he noted.

Looking ahead, Mitchell plans to continue helping to find ways to help Minerallac innovate and grow continuously for the future. “I am preparing for it by testing out new ideas and continuous research on new trends/possibilities that we can look to implement as a company,” he said.

What would Mitchell tell someone just entering the industry? “Something I was told when I first entered into the business: Follow through and your word matters,” he said. “This is a big industry, but also small. Always follow through and keep your word. Also put your own spin on things and find ways to contribute outside of the box.”

Outside of work Mitchell enjoys spending time with his family—his wife, Gabriella; their two young boys; and their Bernese Mountain Dog, Murphy). “I also love to stay active—jogging, playing basketball, and golf,” he added.
