2025 30 Under 35 Profile: Nickyle Milton

Nickyle Milton, 29
Change & Technology Manager
Siemens

Nickyle joined Siemens in 2020 as a manufacturing engineer, arriving in the industry through construction. Over the past five years he has moved to Engineering Project Manager, then to Technical Project Manager, and now to his current role of change and technology manager.

“As an electrical engineer, I designed and commissioned a ton of electrical equipment,” Nickyle said. “The science surrounding how the equipment is engineered and manufactured drew me to the industry. What continues to appeal to me is the importance of the work I do every day. The quality of life in our country can’t be sustained or grow without what we do. Every unit we ship contributes to that. I never take it for granted.”

Asked about a challenge the industry is currently facing, Nickyle pointed to demand and capacity. “We’ve seen tremendous growth over the past few years,” he explained. “My role supports making existing operations more efficient and to support bringing new capacity online as soon as possible.”

Looking ahead, Nickyle said his career goals are to solve the business’s most complex problems and to develop people. “My goal is to continue to focus on making an impact in our business and our people,” he said. “I’m preparing for this by educating myself to become an expert on the tools of the future—AI, machine learning, and emerging technology—and staying up to date on market trends and customer demand.”

What would Nickyle tell someone just entering the industry? “Don’t be afraid to fail, ask a ton of questions, give maximum effort, and be very personable,” he said.

When he’s not working, Nickyle enjoys working out, golf, and traveling. “My wife and I also enjoy trying new restaurants—we’ve visited more than 300 so far!” he noted.
