HAMPSHIRE, Ill. — Minerallac Company donated six boxes of fasteners and assorted tools to the Electrical Program at Dundee-Crown High School in Carpentersville, Illinois. The program, for students in grades 9-12, has been running since 2006 and has educated over 2,200 students in that time. For several years, Minerallac has donated straps and bolts to the program to assist the students in building class projects.
“We’re very proud of our state-of-the-art electrical program and proud to have Minerallac as a sponsor. The students are continuously using Minerallac products, almost every single class day,” says Nick Linden, Electric Shop Teacher and Program Creator.
Currently students are constructing and wiring lights using 1″ Minerallac straps and Cully bolts, washers, and nuts.
