BLOOMFIELD, Conn. – Kaman Corp. announced that Amanda N. Balboni, has been appointed to serve as Assistant Vice President, Internal Audit.
“Amanda has been instrumental in leading continuous improvement in our audit processes and working closely with our business units to ensure compliance with our policies and procedures. This promotion is well-deserved and recognition of the increased responsibilities Amanda has assumed over time,” stated Robert Starr, Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer.
Balboni has served in various roles within Kaman’s internal audit department since 2014, most recently leading the department as Director, and is a participant in the company’s Leadership Development Program. Prior to her arrival at Kaman, Balboni served in finance and audit roles with companies that included Coburn Technologies, Stanley Black & Decker, and PricewaterhouseCoopers.
Balboni holds both Bachelors and Masters degrees in Accounting from the University of Connecticut. She is a Certified Public Accountant in the State of Connecticut.
Also promoted at Kaman Corp. is Rebecca F. Stath, the new Assistant Vice President, S.E.C. Compliance and External Reporting, reporting to John J. Tedone, Vice President, Finance and Chief Accounting Officer. In her role, Stath provides leadership for all financial reporting and consolidation activities in accordance with U.S. GAAP and S.E.C. rules and regulations.
Stath joined Kaman in 2011 serving as Internal Audit Manager prior to her role in financial reporting and compliance. She is a graduate of the Kaman Leadership Development Program and began her career in assurance at KPMG.
Stath holds a Masters of Science in Accounting from the University of Connecticut and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration in Accounting from Central Connecticut State University. She is a Certified Public Accountant in the State of Connecticut.
