Welcome to “The Good Stuff,” where we highlight positive news and ways that NAED employees and member companies go above and beyond to give back to their communities! If you have some “Good Stuff” that you would like to share with tED, find out how below.

In this issue of “The Good Stuff”, Mayer’s ‘Raise the Flag’ Campaign raised $110,000 for Folds of Honor.

BIRMINGHAM, Ala., Oct. 22, 2026 — Mayer, a Rexel USA company, in partnership with The Rexel Foundation, announced a donation of $110,000 to Folds of Honor at its annual gala held Wed., Oct. 21, at the Country Music Hall of Fame in Nashville.

The gift was made possible through the support of the Rexel Foundation, Mayer employees, vendor partners, customers, and individual donors who participated in Mayer’s 2026 “Raise the Flag” fundraising campaign, which launched on Memorial Day this year.

Mayer employees and guests gathered for the annual event, which celebrated company achievements and the impact of collective giving. Folds of Honor Founder and CEO Lt. Col. Dan Rooney delivered the evening’s keynote address, highlighting the organization’s mission and the opportunities created through education.

“At Mayer, we believe in using our success to make a meaningful difference in the communities and causes we care about,” said Pat Daley, President of Mayer and Senior Vice President of Rexel USA. “As a veteran, this mission was especially meaningful to me. Folds of Honor is creating life-changing opportunities for families who have sacrificed so much in service to our country and communities. We are honored to support its mission and grateful to everyone who contributed to making this year’s campaign such a success.”

The funds will help Folds of Honor provide educational scholarships to the spouses and children of fallen or disabled U.S. military service members and first responders. Since its inception in 2007, the organization has awarded nearly 73,000 scholarships totaling more than $340 million nationwide.

“We are incredibly grateful for Mayer’s support and commitment to our mission,” said Lt. Col. Dan Rooney, CEO and founder of Folds of Honor. “This donation will help provide educational opportunities to deserving families and ensure that the sacrifice of our nation’s heroes is never forgotten. Partnerships like this help us continue changing lives through the power of education.
