Burt Schraga of Bell Electrical Supply receives the Arthur W. Hooper award at the NAED National Meeting.
The National Association of Electrical Distributors has completed posting all of the videos created at the National Meeting held in Chicago May 19-21. The videos highlight the keynote speakers, education sessions, and awards ceremonies.
The videos include outgoing NAED Chairman Dan Dungan’s final speech in his position, as he talked about big data usage and automation, along with the direction of the NAED strategic plan. New NAED Chair George Vorwick’s video lays out what he has learned in his career and how he will apply that as Chair.
George Vorwick, President and CEO of United Electric Supply, addresses the attendees as the new NAED Chair at the NAED National Meeting.
The videos include a message from NAED President Tom Naber to not dwell on the past, but look to the future. Naber says part of that future is in the NAED Market Data program, which he explains in his speech.
The NAED National Meeting video page also has a video of what the Market Data Program is, along with conversations during the panel discussion with Dungan, Wes Smith, President of Mayer Electric Supply, and David Maxwell, Senior Vice-President of Sales for Graybar, about how the Market Data Program will work for their companies.
The page also has the awards ceremony, where NAED handed out the Industry Award of Merit to Rockwell Automation, the Distinguished Service Award to Ray Womack of Womack Electric Supply Company, the Associate Service Award to Bill Cheatham of Leviton, and the Arthur Hooper Award to Burt Schraga of Bell Electrical Supply.
