Henning Sandfort (42) was named the new CEO of the Control Products and Systems (CPS) business unit of Siemens Building Technologies effective October 1, 2018. Sandfort will succeed Uwe Frank, the current head of the product business of Building Technologies. Frank will retire at the end of 2018. Until now, Sandfort has been in charge of the Systems and Room Automation product segment within CPS.
“Henning Sandfort has successfully prepared the building product portfolio to meet the requirements of digitalization in building technology. He will continue to systematically expand our offerings in this direction, thus strengthening our leadership in the Smart Buildings sector,” says Matthias Rebellius, CEO of the Siemens Building Technologies Division.
Sandfort joined Building Technologies in 2015 after positions at Siemens Management Consulting and what today is the Digital Factory Division. He has a graduate degree in Industrial Engineering and Management from Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT). The 42-year old is married with two children.
