CLEVELAND — Power management company Eaton announced that it has been named one of Corporate Responsibility (CR) Magazine’s “100 Best Corporate Citizens” for the 12th consecutive year.
“Being a good corporate citizen guides our everyday decisions, both big and small,” said Harold Jones, executive vice president, Eaton Business System and Sustainability, Eaton. “Our inclusion on this list is a true honor and speaks volumes to our commitment to improving the quality of life and the environment. While a lot of work remains to be done, this acknowledgment validates that we’re on the right path.”
CR’s 100 Best Corporate Citizens list, now in its 20th year, recognizes the standout environmental, social and governance (ESG) performance of public companies across the United States. The list ranks the companies on the Russell 1000 Index and focuses on performance measures gathered from publicly available information in seven categories: environment, climate change, employee relations, human rights, governance, finance, and philanthropy and community support.
