Intermatic Appoints New VP of Sales, Three Additional Sales Roles

SPRING GROVE, Ill. – Intermatic Incorporated has announced a new Vice President of Sales, promoting the organization’s former Senior Director of Sales, Steven French, to the position. Additionally, the manufacturer shared the hiring of three new sales roles: Tommy Lato, Zone Manager; Dennis King, Zone Manager; and Matt Leonard, OEM National Sales Manager – Refrigeration.

Steven French joined Intermatic in 2007 and has held a variety of sales leadership positions within the organization, including Sr. Director of Sales, National Account Manager, and Southeast Regional Sales Manager. French now oversees all company sales activities within North America, including the electrical distribution channel.

Tommy Lato serves as Zone Manager and is responsible for building customer relationships within the Louisiana market. A veteran of the electrical industry, Lato manages the electrical distribution channel in the territory, as well as municipality and utility, pool and spa, HVAC, and OEM channels. Before joining Intermatic, he held positions at Signify Lighting (Philips), Curtis Stout, and Professional Lighting Sales.

Dennis King serves as Zone Manager and is responsible for developing customer relationships throughout the California market. He brings extensive technical experience and expertise in a variety of industry topics, including California Title 24. Prior to joining Intermatic, King held roles with American Auto Matrix, West Coast Power Solutions, Siemens, and Novar Honeywell.

Matt Leonard serves as OEM National Sales Manager- Refrigeration, overseeing all OEM refrigeration accounts as well as sales of the LAE by Intermatic product line. He brings more than 20 years of HVAC/R experience and a strong working knowledge of the industry. Before joining Intermatic, Leonard held roles at GHSP and Schneider Electric.
