The American Society of Business Publication Editors (ASBPE) honored tED magazine with 6 national awards for the magazine’s work during 2019, including announcing the tED magazine daily newsletters are the best provided by any business publication in the country. The six national ASBPE awards come just days after the organization honored tED magazine with 22 regional awards.
tED magazine also won national ASBPE awards in design categories for the Table of Contents page, the front cover of the annual New Product Preview supplement, and overall magazine design. In the print categories, tED received a national award for its Current section, which provides news for readers every month. And, after winning national Magazine of the Year in 2019, tED was honored as a finalist for Magazine of the Year in 2020.
The daily newsletters, which link recipients to daily stories posted on www.tedmag.com and lightED at lightedmag.com, are widely read by subscribers, with each newsletter having a better than 52% open rate. To date, the Tuesday and Friday e-newsletters both have open rates above 67%.
The 28 national and regional awards for tED magazine brings the total number of awards for the magazine to 135 since 2015.
