The American Society of Business Publication Editors announced tED magazine has received 22 regional awards for its work in General Content, Magazine Design, Online, and Print. The announcement means tED magazine has earned 130 regional and national awards from the ASBPE since 2015. National awards for 2020 are expected to be announced in mid-June. The ASBPE gave tED magazine its top honor, Magazine of the Year, in 2019.
This year, tED magazine received recognition for its coverage of the benefits provided by NAED, feature coverage of the low voltage market, and the magazine’s “Current” section, which provides our readers with news about the industry for the past month.
In the design category, tED won multiple awards, including design for the Table of Contents page, feature coverage article design for our coverage of “What’s Keeping You Up At Night”, and Overall Magazine Design.
In the category, the ASBPE recognized tedmag.com and lightED for its breaking news coverage of Signify’s acquisition of Cooper Lighting Solutions, its online feature coverage of Amazon’s strategies, and web features section for tedmag.com’s “Exclusive Features”.
The ASBPE also gave awards to tED magazine for its daily e-newsletters, and the “DistributED with tED magazine” podcast.
