tED magazine recently introduced a column that was created to bring you some positive news in today’s world. It’s called “The Good Stuff”, and today we’re highlighting more of the positive news we’ve received from our members. If you have some “Good Stuff” that you would like to share with tED magazine, find out how below.
In this issue, we look at Halco Lighting Technologies, which recently donated more than 1,000 light bulbs to the Atlanta area Ronald McDonald Houses to “keep Houses bright for the children and families who need us!”
The donation led to an announcement on social media from the Ronald McDonald House, thanking Halco CEO Chris Chickanosky, Tony Taylor, Suzanne Irvine, Tim Tyson, and Jim Savage.
“We’re so grateful for organizations like Ronald McDonald House and are thrilled to be able to help support their efforts. We’re currently working to expand our contributions to other Ronald McDonald houses across the U.S,” Irvine, Director of Human Resources at Halco Lighting Technologies, told tED magazine.
The Atlanta area Ronald McDonald Houses report on its website that it “touched the lives of 2,863 families last year through our Ronald McDonald Houses, Ronald McDonald Family Room, Ronald McDonald Care Mobile and partner hotels, with a deep commitment to welcoming all families and removing barriers to healthcare accessibility.
Support made it possible for Atlanta area Ronald McDonald Houses to:
-
- Serve families from 21 states at 2 Ronald McDonald Houses and partner hotels
