Border States Electric (BSE) recently provided a complete solar package for the Saint Paul RiverCentre convention center. BSE supplied the project’s contractor, Hunt Electric Corporation, with solar panels, solar inverters and a racking system. The materials were used to create an 82kW solar photovoltaic installation on the parking ramp at the convention center.
Blake Sexton, BSE’s vice president of business development said, “We see solar as part of our strategic portfolio to meet our customers’ needs on renewable projects, and we can supply the products needed for all phases of a solar energy project.”
The solar project at the Saint Paul RiverCentre was funded by the Minnesota Department of Commerce and a stimulus grant from the U.S. Department of Energy.
