Schaedler Yesco Named One of the Best Places to Work in PA

HARRISBURG, Pa. — Schaedler Yesco Distribution, Inc. (SYD) is proud to announce that it has placed #10 on the list of Best Places to Work in PA in the large-sized companies category.

This is the sixth year in a row and the tenth time overall that SYD has been named one of the Best Places to Work in PA. The annual award program is designed to identify, recognize, and honor the best places of employment in Pennsylvania, benefiting the state’s economy, its workforce, and businesses.

“We take pride in being selected for a tenth time to the Best Places to Work in PA program,”” SYD President Matt Brnik said. “The data we receive from the employee survey is viewed by management as a sort of report card as to how the employees feel we are running the company. We value their opinion and work hard to make sure we are meeting their expectations. That’s what being employee owned is all about.”

The program is made up of the top 100 companies split and ranked into two groups: 50 medium-sized (25-249 employees) and 50 large-sized companies (250+). Schaedler Yesco placed in the top 50 for the large-sized companies. The 2016 rankings were announced in December.

Companies from across the state entered the two-part process to determine the 100 Best Places to Work in PA. The first part of this process was evaluating each nominated company’s workplace policies, practices, philosophies, systems and demographics. The second part consisted of an employee survey to measure the employee experience. The combined scores determined the top companies and the final ranking. Best Companies Group managed the overall registration and survey process.
